ERAU Runner Stays in Prescott for Internship, Training

Instead of going home for the summer, Nick Logan of the Embry-Riddle track team decided to stay in Prescott. The reason… he is doing an internship for Superior Industries. Logan, a native of Phoenix, works with outside fabrication shops to help produce the industrial conveyors and bulk material handling equipment produced by Superior.

In an article on the ERAU athletic website, Logan considers this a win-win as along with his internship, he can run on many of the local trails to prepare for the upcoming cross country season. Logan is going into his senior year at Embry-Riddle.

This past season for the Eagles track team, Logan was the runner-up in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Cal Pac Conference Championship meet and qualified for the NAIA National meet. He was also named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
