A project to improve the Prescott Solid Waste Facility has begun. Crews are mobilizing equipment on Sundog Ranch Road in preparation for work on a temporary access road to the facility. The goal of the project is to relocate the solid waste fee booth and scales to a new location. In addition, new curbs and gutters will be installed along Sundog Ranch Road, and new water mains and storm drains will be put in.
Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. The project should be completed later this year.
