It was a rainy Sunday for Yavapai County. According to the county Flood Control District, Thumb Butte received 1.14 inches of rain. Granite Basin got three-quarters of an inch of rain. Prescott Country Club had just over a half-inch of rain. Camp Verde received 0.47 inches. Watson Lake and Big Chino Wash both got 0.43 inches. Prescott Valley and Lake Montezuma both had 0.28 inches. Cottonwood and Sedona both received under a quarter-inch of rain. Willow Lake got 0.16 inches. Prescott Heights had 0.12 inches. Lynx Lake and Cordes Junction received 0.08 inches, and Outer Loop Road got 0.04 inches of rain.
We could see more rain in the Prescott area today as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms.
