Two more Yavapai College baseball players have joined teams at four-year schools. Ryan Pruitt has signed with the University of South Florida. This past season, Pruitt was named to the All-Conference First Team after batting .383 with five home runs, 31 RBIs, 18 doubles – the fourth most in the ACCAC – three triples, 51 runs scored, 23 stolen bases, and a .606 slugging percentage. As an outfielder, Pruitt made just one error in 106 chances for a fielding percentage of .991. He joins a Bulls team that went 26-29 this past season.
Meanwhile, Pierce Radke is off to Due West, South Carolina to play for the Erskine College Flying Fleet, which competes in NCAA Division Two. This past season, Radke hit .301 with four homers, 24 RBIs, six doubles, 35 runs scored, and a .418 slugging percentage. The Flying Fleet finished its 2024 season with a record of 29-26.
