The rescue of three people from a flooded area of Prescott Valley last weekend highlighted the importance of avoiding streets and low water crossings where flooding has occurred.
Prescott Valley Police spokeswoman Jodi Mullins tells The News the dangers of entering a flooded area:
Mullins says they have seen fewer motorists driving through barricaded low water crossing over the last several years, but their goal is to have no one do it.
