Man Pulls A Knife Over $10

A dispute over ten dollars led to a man’s arrest Saturday evening. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a man who said he had just been robbed at knifepoint. He told deputies he and the suspect had a dispute over $10 that the victim gave the suspect to give him a ride. When the victim changed his mind and asked for the money back, the suspect grabbed a knife and threatened the victim. The victim left the scene unharmed and gave a detailed description of the suspect’s vehicle. When a YCSO deputy located the vehicle, the suspect fled, initiating a pursuit on Highway 89A and stopped at Larry Caldwell Drive. Deputies found the knife described by the victim as well as illegal narcotics. The suspect, 58-year-old Hector Carattini, was arrested and booked on several charges.
