The Verde Valley Fire District is helping with firefighting efforts on the Freeman Fire. The district sent one of its water tenders to the scene.
The Freeman Fire has burned more than 32,000 acres of land near Oracle in Southern Arizona and is 75-percent contained. The fire began last Thursday from a lightning strike.
