Good news from Southern Arizona. The State Department of Forestry and Fire Management reports the Freeman Fire near Oracle is 100-percent contained. The blaze burned more than 32,000 acres. The Freeman Fire began on July 11th as a result of two lightning strikes.
Among the assets fighting the fire was a water tender from the Verde Valley Fire District.
