The Tri-City Task Force performed a speed detail in Chino Valley last Wednesday.
According to CVPD, the department partnered with the Prescott Police Department, Prescott Valley Police Department, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, and Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The speed detail took place from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Forty vehicles were stopped, with officers issuing 16 speed citations, 11 various citations, 1 seat belt citation and arrested one person.
Grant funding to support this detail was provided by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
