As we move into August and the Monsoon starts picking up more steam, Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority is among the many local agencies concerned about the safety of residents and visitors when it comes to flash floods.
CAFMA Spokeswoman Kathy Goodman says a chief concern is people driving around barricades set up during floods:
CAFMA is offering free sand and bags for use as sandbags for protection against flooding. Goodman says:
