Our local football teams lost a lot of players from last year to graduation. But they have some good guys coming back for the 2024 season. Prescott brings back Uriah Tenette, who had 17 total touchdowns and made the All-Grand Canyon Region first team. Also back is defensive lineman Cooper Kasun, who had 73 tackles and was an All-Region second team selection. Receiver Johann Gunderman had 882 receiving yards and eleven touchdowns and was an All-Region first team selection.
Returning for Bradshaw Mountain are Kylin Jackson, who recorded 475 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, and Brayden Monday, who had 48 tackles, an interception, and a fumble recovery. Both were All-Region honorable mentions.
Chino Valley has Ben Sibole back, who had 1,433 passing yards and eight touchdowns. Kai Holmes had 346 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Both were All-West Region honorable mentions.
