The Prescott Unified School District is trying to get ahead of the growing trend in AI generative programs. At its meeting Tuesday, the board went over a draft policy regarding the use of AI by students for their assignments.
Superintendent Clark Tenney said:
The proposed policy would prohibit AI tools from being used in an assignment, stressing all work must be the original creation of the student. AI tools can be used to proof-read an assignment or organize the content.
