Coach Kali Pugh pretty much has her roster set for the 2025 Yavapai College softball team. Among her new players is Daisy Smith from Wickenburg High School. During her career, she won 55 games while striking out 890 batters and was an all-conference second team selection her senior year.
Another new Roughrider is Alexa Ramirez, who hit .292 with 12 RBIs her senior season at Orem High School in Utah.
Marissa Meltzer comes to Yavapai from Walden Grove High School, where she hit .329 for her career with 39 RBIs and 58 runs scored.
Mackenzie Durr, a product of Desert Mountain High School, hit .305 during her career with the Lady Wolves with 68 RBIs and 61 runs scored, while in the circle she won 20 games and fanned 178 batters.
Ashlynn Schritter is a graduate of Lee Williams High School who batted .438 with 14 RBIs in her senior season.
