Firefighting efforts on the Farm Fire near Kirkland are winding down. Officials with the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management report the wildfire has topped out at 111 acres and is 90-percent contained. The fire began last Thursday and forced the temporary evacuation of some nearby residents.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
