A Yavapai College baseball pitcher is off to a four-year school. Nick Woodcock signed with Emporia State University, a Division II school in Kansas. Woodcock missed the 2024 season with an injury, but was 3-0 with a 3.00 ERA and 25 strikeouts in ten games in 2023.
The two local men’s college soccer teams square off tonight. Yavapai College faces Embry-Riddle in a scrimmage at Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley. It starts at 6 p.m.
