In their first road game of the season, the Embry-Riddle men’s soccer team was in search of their first win of the season. The Eagles were in Mobile, Alabama Thursday to face Faulkner University. Faulkner – who are also the Eagles – went on the attack early, but nearly all their shots missed the net. Then with 27 minutes left in the first half, Roei Nir struck for Riddle to put them up 1-0.
That lead held up going into halftime and through almost the entire second half. Then with 1:15 left in regulation, Alex Barros scored for Faulkner. Embry-Riddle was unable to get the equalizer before time expired and wound up with a 1-1 draw, their second tie game of the young season.
Elias Ammon had three saves in net for Riddle.
ERAU is back in action tomorrow night when they take on the University of Mobile.
