Chip seal operations take place this week in Prescott. On Wednesday, crews will be working on Dougherty Street, Dougherty Circle, Eagle Drive, Eagle Circle, and Fair Street.
On Thursday, work takes place on Meadowridge Road, Granite Shadows Drive, White Oak Circle, Quarry Lane, and Swenson Street.
On Friday, crews will do chip sealing on Jack Drive, South Burro Drive, Rawhide Drive, Jenny Drive, Cottonwood Lane, Oak Grove Lane, and Garden Grove Lane.
Chip sealing helps extend the life of the roadway. Motorists traveling through these areas may encounter lane restrictions, reduced speeds, rough road conditions, and flaggers directing traffic. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The project should be finished sometime this fall.
