Two Men Charged in Death of Missing Seligman Woman

Shayna Feinman was reported missing from the Hyde Park area of Seligman by a neighbor on March 18th of this year. The neighbor, who was caring for Feinman’s dog, had not heard from her since March 8th and went out looking for her. The neighbor found Feinman’s vehicle with her wallet in it not far from the property where Feinman and her boyfriend, 36-year-old Cavett Richards, were staying.

While investigating what happened to Feinman, detectives discovered several other crimes that were committed by Richards and an acquaintance 58-year-old William DalCerro. These crimes included weapons offenses, tampering with evidence, and possession of a stolen vehicle. Both Richards and DalCerro were arrested on these crimes and are currently in the Yavapai County Detention Center.

During the following months, detectives gathered evidence that suggested there is sufficient probable cause to charge DalCerro and Richards with 2nd degree murder, concealment of a dead body, and conspiracy. The charges were filed Wednesday in Yavapai County.

Feinman’s body has not been located. YCSO believes her body may be somewhere in the deserts or forests of West-Central California. Anyone with information on this case should call the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office at 928-771-3260 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
