Airport Grants and Public Safety Highlight Prescott City Council Agenda

No study session for the Prescott City Council Tuesday. Instead, they will go right into the voting meeting at 3 pm. The council votes on two grants concerning the airport. One is for $3.1 million for land acquisition for airport protection, the other is for $243,000 for planning work at Prescott Regional Airport.

The council also considers an amendment to the city code adding a definition for “public safety services.” A presentation is also scheduled on selecting a location for a permanent sculpture garden.

The meeting takes place in city council chambers at 201 North Montezuma Street.
