The Chino Valley Town Council approved changes to the town code regarding the use of metal storage containers at its meeting Tuesday.
Assistant Development Services Director Will Dingee explained the changes for storage containers on commercial properties, including how many can be placed on a single acre:
For residential properties, only one metal storage container per acre is allowed, and they must be placed behind the home. The amendment was approved on a 5-2 vote.
