PUSD Enrollment Down at Elementary Schools, Up at High School

Some schools have seen a drop in enrollment, while others got a boost in the number of students. At Tuesday’s Prescott Unified School District Governing Board meeting, Superintendent Clark Tenney gave a report on enrollment numbers through the first month of the school year:

Prescott High School has 1,479 students compared to 1,405 at the end of last school year. Mile High’s enrollment dropped from 546 last year to 486 this year. Granite Mountain increased from 490 students last year to 513 this year. The elementary school that saw the biggest drop in enrollment was Abia Judd with 473 students this year compared to 502 at the end of last school year.
