Prescott High School’s Food Forest Learning Lab received a big donation. Sprout’s Healthy Communities Foundation recently gave the lab a $10,000 grant. The money will help pay for additional seating, educational signage, educational materials and resources for classes to utilize, and an outdoor classroom.
The Food Forest Learning Lab officially opens September 28th with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. The goal of the lab is to enhance educational opportunities, promote sustainable practices, and provide fresh, local produce to students.
