We are seven weeks away from the 2024 general election.
Yavapai County Recorder Michelle Burchill wants to ensure voters know the following information to get their votes to her office on time.
· All registered voters are eligible to vote in the 2024 General Election.
· To be eligible to vote, you must register/update your voter information by October 7th. To register in person, please visit the Yavapai County Recorder’s Office at 1015 Fair St. Rm 228 in Prescott, or 10 S. 6th St. in Cottonwood, weekdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Or you may register online at www.servicearizona.com.
· Election material cannot be forwarded. If you have changes to your residential or mailing address, please contact our office at 928-771-3248 ext. 9 or visit www.servicearizona.com to update your voter registration by October 7th.
· Ballots will be mailed to voters requesting a ballot-by-mail on October 9th. Be sure to sign your affidavit envelope in your original handwriting.
· Voters may vote early in-person beginning October 9th at the Yavapai County Recorder’s Office 1015 Fair St. in Prescott, or 10 S. 6th St. in Cottonwood weekdays from 8:00am – 5:00pm, and in Prescott Valley 7351 E Skoog Blvd, from 9:00am – 4:00pm weekdays. The last day to request an early ballot-by-mail is October 25th. Visit my.arizona.vote to request a one-time early ballot or call 928-771-3248 ext. 9.
· To ensure your ballot is received on-time, consider using one of our 19 Official Drop Boxes located throughout the county. This saves our county 68¢ per ballot in tax dollars. Visit YavapaiVotes.gov for locations. DO NOT mail your voted ballot back after October 29th. Late ballots will not be tabulated. · Any voters voting in person will need to present proper identification. Visit YavapaiVotes.gov for Vote Center locations and identification requirements.
