Crews are putting up walls at the City of Prescott’s solid waste facility where the new scale and fee booth will be located. Foundation work for the new fee booth is also being performed. Motorists traveling through this stretch of Sundog Ranch Road may encounter rough road conditions, reduced speeds, lane restrictions, and flaggers directing traffic.
Access to the Peavine Trail and Yavapai Humane Society will be maintained during this project, but the recycling bins at the transfer station are temporarily closed.
Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. The project should be finished later this year.
