When a disaster like a wildfire or flood occurs, you may have to leave your home in a hurry, and you may be at a shelter for several days. That could make it difficult to get your prescription medication refilled.
Yavapai County emergency management officials recommend you keep at least one week’s worth of medication on hand, along with a copy of your prescriptions, and store them in a safe place so you can grab them quickly if you have to evacuate.
