The Town of Prescott Valley holds a special swearing-in ceremony Thursday at 5 p.m. for councilmembers-elect Matt Zurcher and Ken Freund. They will fill seats vacated by former councilwoman April Hepperle, who resigned in August to take a position with CYMPO, and councilwoman Lucy Leyva, who will be stepping down from her appointed seat per state law, now that an election has been held.
The town’s other councilmembers-elect, Janell Kiehl and Bill Williams, will take their oaths of office in December.
The public is invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony at the Library Auditorium at 7401 East Skoog Blvd. The ceremony will precede the regular Town Council meeting at 5:30 p.m.
