Pure Imagination Festival Seeks Support from City of Prescott

Bringing people together is the goal of the Pure Imagination Festival. That was the pitch made by Candace Devine-Sheridan, the festival organizer, to the Prescott City Council at its meeting Tuesday. She was seeking city support to keep the festival going.

Devine-Sheridan told the council:

This year’s Pure Imagination Festival at Watson Lake featured several artists, including Tanya Tucker and The Flaming Lips.

Devine-Sheridan is the great-niece of Arizona-born Western actor Andy Devine. She is also a singer and songwriter and has written music for artists ranging from Christina Aguilera to Ringo Starr.
