AZ Cardinals Name PHS Football’s Tenette High School Player of the Week

He had a monster game on offense and defense, and the Arizona Cardinals rewarded him for it. The Cards named Prescott football’s Uriah Tenette their High School Player of the Week.

In last week’s 40-28 victory over Combs, “Tenacious T” threw for 155 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he had two interceptions, returning one of them 105 yards for a touchdown. On top of all that, Tenette was named Prescott’s Homecoming King.

Through his first five games of the season, Tenette has thrown for 903 yards and eleven touchdowns with just one interception, and has rushed for 230 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, he has registered 20 tackles and four interceptions.

Tenette and the rest of the Badgers are back in action tomorrow when they host Lee Williams.
