More lane restrictions are scheduled for I-17 this week. Both the north and southbound lanes of I-17 between Black Canyon City and Table Mesa Road will be narrowed to one lane from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. through Saturday to accommodate utility work, bridge work, and paving operations. Motorists traveling through the area should allow for extra time to reach their destination and be alert for construction personnel and equipment.
This is part of the I-17 improvement project, which should be completed next year.
