CVHS Girls Soccer Gets Back-to-Back Wins Over Camp Verde

For the second time this week, the Chino Valley and Camp Verde girls soccer teams clashed. With the Lady Cougars ranked number seven in the state power point rankings, putting them just outside a postseason spot, this was a critical game for them. The Lady Cowboys, meanwhile, would have liked nothing more than to play spoiler to their rivals. But that did not work out for Camp Verde as, once again, Chino came away victorious 4-2.

Livia McMains had back-to-back hat tricks against the Lady Cowboys. Lexi Polochek also scored for the Lady Cougars.

That puts Chino’s record at 5-5 in power point games. Only two more games remain on the Lady Cougars’ regular season schedule. They are at Payson on October 21st, then host Blue Ridge on October 24th.
