Units from both the Copper Canyon Fire and Medical District and the Verde Valley Fire District spent Saturday putting out a mulch fire. The blaze occurred on Hayfield Draw Road in Camp Verde. The cause of the fire is not known.
While units from both districts handled the fire, personnel from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority stood by to assist with any other emergency calls in the Verde Valley.
