A motorcycle rider died after colliding with a vehicle on Highway 69 in Prescott Valley. Police officials say the crash occurred Monday night around 7:40 p.m. when the motorcycle entered oncoming traffic near Stoneridge and collided with another vehicle. EMTs arrived shortly after the accident and provided medical assistance. Despite their efforts, the motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was temporarily closed while authorities investigated and cleared the scene. The name of the motorcycle rider was not released by Prescott Valley Police.
