No matter how much rain and snow the Prescott area gets over the next couple of days, it won’t put much of a dent in the extreme fire danger in the Prescott National Forest.

Everyone is urged to take precautions to prevent a wildfire from breaking out, including properly disposing of cigarettes and making sure chains are not dragging from your vehicle, as they can throw out sparks and start roadside fires.
