There did not seem to be much rust on the Bradshaw Mountain football team coming out of their bye week. Friday night, the Bears were in Cottonwood to battle intra-county rival Mingus. Bradshaw came out of the first quarter holding a 19-7 lead over the Marauders. At halftime, the Bears held a 25-14 advantage over Mingus. The Bears continued racking up points and ultimately won the game 39-22.

The Chino Valley football team was to have played at Window Rock Friday night, but the Cougars’ bus got caught in a four-hour traffic jam on I-40 due to an accident, forcing them to cancel the game. It has been rescheduled for November 7.
