Yavapai County will soon be searching for a new constable for the Seligman precinct.
County Spokesman David McAtee tells The News:
According to Arizona Revised Statute 16-230, the Board of Supervisors shall appoint a person of the same political party as the person vacating the office to fill the portion of the term until the next regular general election. The serving Constable was elected as a member of the Republican Party.
