Chris Kuknyo Resigns From YC Governing Board, Replacement Sought

There is a vacancy on the Yavapai College District Governing Board. Chris Kuknyo announced his resignation from the board following his win in the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors race for District Four in the primary election. Kuknyo’s resignation takes effect at the end of the year.

Yavapai County Schools Superintendent Tim Carter is now accepting applications from those who wish to serve the remainder of Kuknyo’s term, which ends on December 31, 2026. Eligible candidates must come from District Four, which includes Prescott, Chino Valley, Paulden, Ash Fork, and Seligman.

Letters of interest can be emailed to tim.carter@yavapaiaz.gov. Information should include education and employment history, along with your reasons for wanting to serve on the Yavapai College District Governing Board.

The deadline to submit your letter of interest is December 2.
