The first post-season action of the fall season took place on the golf course Tuesday with the section championships for the boys and the girls, and both Prescott and Bradshaw Mountain were in the mix. The two tournaments took place on the Badgers’ home links at Antelope Hills, and they definitely had the home field advantage.
For the boys, Prescott claimed another section title, shooting a 285, with Bradshaw second with a 297 and Coconino third with a 315. Individually, the Badgers’ Jonathan Tso won it with a 65. Preston Ross from Page was second with a 67, and the Badgers’ Jackson Carr and the Bears’ Jeremy Reynolds tied for third with a 71.
On the girls’ side, Prescott also won the section championship, shooting a 391. Freshman Carolynn Westerman placed third with a score of 87, and Karlee Molster and Madison Osterloh tied for fourth with a 97. Bradshaw Mountain had an incomplete score.
