Roadway excavation is being performed in the vicinity of the City of Prescott’s solid waste facility. This is being done in advance of retaining wall installation. Crews are also continuing subgrade preparation throughout the project area.
Motorists traveling through this stretch of Sundog Ranch Road may encounter rough road conditions, reduced speeds, lane restrictions, and flaggers directing traffic. Access to the Peavine Trail and Yavapai Humane Society will be maintained during this project, but the recycling bins at the transfer station are temporarily closed. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Thursday. The project should be finished later this year.
