Even though Tuesday is Election Day, the Prescott City Council will still meet. At the 1 p.m. study session, the council hears a presentation on the new mobile command unit.
Then at 3 p.m., the voting meeting begins. The City Council considers a petition from two Prescott residents regarding the leasing of city property. A four-million-dollar contract with Danson Construction for the construction of phase three of the Streets Division Administration Building is on the agenda, as well as an amendment to the Land Development Code regarding accessory dwelling units. Council also votes on a ten-million-dollar contract with Technology Construction, Inc. for the Mingus Pump Station, Tank, and Pipeline Project.
Both meetings take place in City Council Chambers at 201 North Montezuma Street.
