BMHS Volleyball Vanquishes Paradise Honors in State Play-in Round

Last night’s state play-in round match between the Bradshaw Mountain and Paradise Honors volleyball teams started out with both sides neck-and-neck, with the Lady Bears pulling out the first set 25-22. Bradshaw stumbled in the second set, losing to the Lady Panthers 25-15. That just seemed to fire up Bradshaw, who romped over Paradise Honors in the next two sets, 25-15 and 25-13, to win the match 3-1.

Sadie Sullivan notched ten kills and four aces. Emma Johnson registered five ace serves, Eliana Moll tallied eight kills, and Kalli Smith posted nine kills.

The Lady Bears now move on to the Sweet 16 of the 4-A Conference State Championship Tournament, which takes place tomorrow.
