While Prescott National Forest offices will be closed on Veterans Day, Monday, day-use areas will still be open.
In honor of the holiday, no fees will be charged to visit these recreation sites. This applies to the Lynx Lake Recreation Area, Granite Basin Recreation Area, Thumb Butte Recreation Area, Alto Pit OHV Recreation Area, Groom Creek Nature Trail, Mingus Day Use Area, Mingus Lake Day Use Area, and Hayfield Draw OHV Day Use Area.
Prescott National Forest offices will reopen on Tuesday.
