The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority has announced the appointment of a 16-year veteran of fire service to the position of Deputy Chief of Operations.
Chief Dustin Parra began his career as a reserve firefighter with the Chino Valley Fire District before joining the Central Yavapai Fire District as a full-time firefighter. Rising through the ranks to become Training Chief for CAFMA, he has consistently shown devotion to the communities he serves. Most recently, Parra served as CAFMA’s Accreditation Manager, where he was responsible for leading and organizing the application process, liaising with employees and the accrediting body, and ensuring the accuracy of all documentation to maintain high service standards and improve community trust.
Parra says is enthusiastic about his new role as Deputy Chief of Operations, emphasizing his commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and advancing training and development initiatives. He adds he looks forward to the opportunity to further contribute to the team and drive CAFMA’s mission forward.
