YCSO Makes Arrest in Credit Card Fraud Incident

A Rimrock couple reported to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office last month that their credit card had been stolen and they discovered fraudulent charges of over $7,000.

The investigation into the fraud revealed that the charges were made to an auto lender in Cottonwood, with details confirmed by the lender’s manager. Deputies obtained the suspect’s information from the lender and learned the suspect was the victim’s landscaper.

On the morning of November 12th, deputies served a search warrant at the suspect’s house and found evidence of the crime. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on fraud schemes and numerous other felony charges.
