PHS, BMHS Football Players Make All-Region Team, Tenette Player of the Year

Twenty-one touchdown throws, 15 touchdown runs, five interceptions – including a pick-six – and 56 tackles. Those were the reasons Uriah Tenette of the Prescott football team was named the overall Grand Canyon Region Player of the Year.

His coach, Cody Collett, tells The News:

All-Region First Team selections included Prescott’s Cooper Kasun, Adam Lloyd, Josiah Peoples, Brody Hanna, Dante De Kort, and Johann Gundermann, along with Bradshaw Mountain’s Kylin Jackson, Brayden Munday, Ethan Janzen, Kaleb Dekens, Josiah Acuna, and Gage Benjamin.

Making the All-Region Second Team were Prescott’s Isaac Briseno, Frankie Jaume, and Beau Brice, as well as Bradshaw Mountain’s Trevor Head, Kameron Glancy, Dreyven Gilbert, and Sean Hughes.

Prescott’s Cody Collett was also named the Co-Region Coach of the Year.
