The Bradshaw Mountain boys basketball team had the perfect way to burn off all those Thanksgiving calories—with four games in two days at the Sentinel Holiday Classic.
In their first day of competition Friday at Horizon Honors High School, the Bears came up short against ALA Ironwood, 68-51. Cam Ranniker tallied 19 points, and Kylin Jackson put up 11 points. Game two was a dogfight with Pusch Ridge, but Bradshaw pulled it out 44-40. Jackson led the offense with 14 points, and Preston Ranniker notched 10 points.
The Bears had a rough start to their Saturday schedule with a 64-47 loss to San Tan Foothills. The Rannikers were Bradshaw’s top scorers in that game, with Cam registering 13 points and Preston notching 12. In their final game of the Sentinel Holiday Classic, the Bears dominated Payson, pummeling the Longhorns 83-61. Preston Ranniker posted 25 points, while Cam Ranniker and Jayden Blasczyk each tallied 17 points.
