A trio of Chino Valley football players were recognized for their play this season as they made the All 3A West Region Team. Second team selections were defensive lineman Caden Call, linebacker Logan Zerger, and receiver Freddy Garcia.
Some football players from Mayer also received post-season honors. Making the All 1A North Region Second Team were offensive lineman Sean Valenzuela and receiver Uriah Romero. Two other Wildcats, Gregorio Haro and Emanuel Zavala, also received All-Region honors.
Moving to the pitch, members of the Chino Valley girls soccer team had post-season honors bestowed upon them. Livia McMains and Sage Rhys-Evans both made the All-Central Region First Team. Second team selections were Lexi Polachek and Diana Montes, while Brielle Bell and Natalie Graham received All-Region Honorable Mentions. McMains and Rhys-Evans were also named to the All-Conference Second Team.
