A trash truck caught fire in Paulden on Monday, and the fire spread to a nearby building.
Officials with the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority report the blaze broke out around 5 p.m. at United Disposal on West United Way. Flames from the trash truck extended to the business, but CAFMA firefighters extinguished the fire and prevented further damage.
Extensive overhaul operations were conducted to locate any hidden hot spots to ensure the fire did not reignite. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is not known.
