The Prescott Christmas Parade and Courthouse Lighting will result in numerous street closures in downtown Prescott on Saturday.
According to City of Prescott officials, parade route closures will begin at 8 a.m. on Gurley Street from Montezuma Street to Cortez Street, followed at 9 a.m. by closures on Cortez Street from Willis to Goodwin, Union Street from Cortez to Marina, Goodwin Street from Granite to Marina, and Montezuma Street from Goodwin to Sheldon. The parade route streets should re-open around 4 p.m.
The city will keep the following streets closed for the Courthouse Lighting: Gurley Street from Montezuma to Cortez, Montezuma Street from Gurley to Goodwin, and Cortez Street from Gurley to Union. Those streets should re-open around 9 p.m.
The Christmas Parade begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, followed by the Courthouse Lighting at 6 p.m.
