Lack of Fire Staff for Winter at Prescott Nat’l Forest

One of the problems with wildfires breaking out during the winter months is a lack of resources by the Prescott National Forest to combat them.

Cory Carlson, the West Zone Fire Management Officer for the forest, tells The News:

Prescott Broadcasting, LLC · CARLSON RESOURCES 12-6-24

Carlson urges everyone who visits the forest to take precautions, like making sure campfires are completely out and properly disposing of cigarettes, to prevent a wildfire from starting.
