No tight defensive struggle in this season opener. Both the Bradshaw Mountain and Estrella Foothills boys’ soccer teams traded goals Monday night in Prescott Valley. The Bears, however, got a few more than the Wolves and secured a 5-3 victory.
The Smiths had a huge night offensively for Bradshaw Mountain. Ethan notched four goals, and Will registered one goal and three assists. That gets the Bears off to a 1-0 start to the 2024-2025 season.
They have two more games on the docket for December. Bradshaw Mountain plays again Friday when they travel to ALA Gilbert North. Then, on December 16, the Bears host Cactus Shadows. Bradshaw Mountain is coming off a 12-6 record from last season, when they made it to the Elite Eight of state.
